Just answering a few questions I see asked a lot about our cosplay:

Q: Do you make your own costumes?
A: Yes, we make everything ourselves (with help from our moms, lol) but nothing is a purchased, pre-made costume, we cosplay mostly for the craft, not as much for the play.  Sometimes we have a plushie with us that's made by another artist, but all the clothes/weapons/props are ours.  And of course, some plain clothes elements are store bought but it would usually be altered/assembled by us.

Q: Can I post your pictures on another site?
A: Yes, as long as you link back to the original image somewhere, and if there are credits for a professional photographer, please don't remove any watermarks and ideally you would link to the photographer as well, since the picture is their art.

Q: How did you make ______?
A: I'd be happy to help if you e-mail me at YellerCrakka@Yahoo.com since instructions on how to make something are usually longer than a little comment area.

Q: Do you make tutorials? / What tutorial did you use to make this?
A: Sorry, we haven't made any tutorials and as much as we mean to do so, we probably never will.  Also we don't really use tutorials, we like our items to be expressions of our personal love for a character or series so we don't really want to copy other people's ideas or techniques.

Because of the tough financial situation we find ourselves in, we've had to cancel almost all of our convention trips, and we are now selling the costumes we no longer use, as well as some of our anime collection.

General Updates & Con Info:
Well we ended up missing a lot of cons we were planning on going to this year because of the bleak economic situation this country is in.  While we haven't been hit too hard personally, because of layoffs, there's no one to take YellerCrakka's place at work when he requests days off, so no cons at all this Fall and Winter so far.  We're hoping after New Years, business here in Vegas will be slow enough the restaurant can manage a man down for a weekend or two.  We haven't been working on our costumes very much, because we need the motivation and deadline of a convention to get us going!

The next convention we have a chance at attending is Ikkicon in about a month, it's in TX so my sister Vatisha won't be there, so the Eva costumes are a no go.  It's not enough time to finish our Berserk costumes either, so we're thinking about power housing Ico and Yorda because they're the easiest, even though we only have a few things done right now, but I will be freezing in that little dress.  It's either that or another quick Pokemon Gijinka...  At least we'll have Team Magma Grunts if all else fails.

Well MikomiCon is over with now, we didn't get a chance to wear our Team Magma Grunt costumes because we forgot some pieces of it at home. >_< Oh well, they'll be ready for the next con we go to, which is undecided at the moment.  There's always Halloween, it might be nice to wear those warm fleece costumes out on a autumn night.  And I'll have pictures of our Team Aqua Grunt costumes up soon, I left all the pictures with my photographer Vatisha and won't be able to get them back for a few weeks.

The next con we'll be attending is MikomiCon Sept 19-21, 2008 in Northridge, CA!  My little sister Vatisha and I will be going as Female Magma Grunts and my parnter YellerCrakka will be going as a Male Magma Grunt, all from Pokemon of course! ^_^  We will also have an Artist Alley table, so be sure to stop by and check it out.
