This is my partner ~YellerCrakka and I in our Kamui and Kotori costumes from X/1999.

X has been one of my favorite anime since I first started watching it, and I always wanted to cosplay from it, and this year at A-kon, my wish finally came true! I'm doing a mix of two art book versions of Kotori because I wanted small wings, long sleeves, and the little cross choker, ~YellerCrakka is doing our own spin on the dream version of Kamui, before he chooses to become a Dragon of Earth or a Dragon of Heaven.

These costumes were a bitch to make!!! From the seemingly easy white dress that turned out to not be so easy, to the cloak that used over 30 yards of fabric, to the gigantic sword made in record time, to those massive wings that used even more fabric, everything was difficult to make, but definitely worth it for these cool photos.

I saw some of your other cosplay pics as I was surfin' the Popular section of 'Kamui'. The hooded Kamui was a good idea and you look pretty as Kotori. As for this picture, it somehow fits that she'd have small wings than large.

Thank you so much! :hug: I really wanted to do something different and cool for our X cosplay, I'm glad you like the designs. I really like my little wings too, mostly because I didn't get blown away by the wind!
